Owner/operator Chayne Stensland has over 30 years experience in the field; 16 of them spent working at Audi of Marin, 10 of which he was Audi shop foreman. Chayne is a true leader in the automotive repair industry, & one of only 10 technicians nation-wide to win the prestigious Audi Twin Cup Diagnostic Challenge; speaking to his unparalleled knowledge & expertise in diagnostics & repair. His level of proficiency & total command in diagnostics means getting it right…the first time; saving clients time & money. With a commitment to superior quality and customer satisfaction, Chayne is one of only a select few elite-class technicians to be awarded the esteemed Audi Master Guild certification, (the highest level achievable). Chayne is R8 certified, & an Audi factory trained high voltage expert (hybrid/EV), meaning he is expertly qualified to do ALL levels of repairs on any Audi/VW hybrid/EV (incl. battery module replacement). He also holds multiple ASE certifications; including Advanced Level Specialist, (a high-level certification required to obtain a CA SMOG inspection license), which he has held for 20+ years. Although we do not perform smog inspections here at Sonoma European Motors, it is a valuable tool to gain deep diagnostic knowledge for repairs.
